This work explores the idea that truth is rarely singular or absolute, but instead exists in layers, perspectives, and overlapping experiences. Different truths do not necessarily invalidate one another; rather, they each carry their own message, shaped by perception, memory, and circumstance.
The piece invites the viewer to step back from the impulse to divide opposing ideas into right or wrong, and instead consider how seemingly contrasting perspectives may coexist in service of a greater understanding. Like intersecting patterns or harmonies within nature, these truths can reveal a larger picture when viewed together rather than in isolation.
Through this work, I hope to encourage reflection on the complexity of human understanding — the possibility that wisdom is not found in choosing one perspective over another, but in recognizing how multiple truths can interact, inform one another, and ultimately guide us toward deeper awareness.
This piece was inspired by the essence of what it feels like to awaken to a higher calling — the realization that soulful divinity is not distant from us, but something that flows through our very being and remains accessible at any moment. It speaks to the remembrance of lifetimes filled with wisdom, experience, knowledge, and existence — like sacred waters flowing between celestial and earthly realms, gently guiding us inward toward our truest selves.
We often associate a “higher calling” with self-sacrifice or external purpose, but perhaps it is something far more personal: honoring what feels deeply meaningful, whole, and authentic to you. Each of us carries unique passions, gifts, and expressions that are equally sacred and worthy of being fully embodied.
True alignment comes through authenticity — remaining sovereign to oneself and courageously following what resonates most deeply within.

Inspired by the formation of tourmaline, this piece reflects the quiet transformation that occurs beneath the surface of both the earth and the human spirit. Tourmaline is created deep underground through intense hydrothermal activity, where mineral-rich waters move through fractures in cooling stone. Over time, heat, pressure, and dissolved elements crystallize into something luminous and enduring.
This process serves as a metaphor for life itself — the idea that we are shaped by every environment, challenge, and unseen force we encounter. Just as tourmaline emerges from darkness through pressure and transformation, we too are continually refined through experience. The fractures we carry become places where growth can enter, and the elements surrounding us leave lasting impressions on who we become.
Through this work, I hope to evoke a sense of trust in the transformative nature of life: that even within periods of uncertainty, depth, or change, something meaningful and beautiful is quietly forming within us.
